Sixty seconds of continuous discharge — the longest of any type — suited to liquid fires where the surface has to be covered gradually and completely.
Where these belong
Places where liquid fuels are stored
- Class A — solid fuels such as wood, cloth, paper, rubber and plastics
- Class B — liquid fuels such as oil, grease, all flammable substances and flammable gases
Never use on a Class C fire — an electrical fire such as a short circuit. Foam contains water, water conducts electricity, and the operator could be electrocuted.
After any use, whether the agent is fully spent or not, the unit must be refilled.
